About Our Montessori School
At Sunny Hills Montessori, we believe that children learn best through the natural environment, which we integrate into many aspects of the school day. We recognize that a child’s early years are essential for building a strong foundation and fostering a lifelong love of learning and discovery.
Sunny Hills Montessori is a preschool where we provide early childhood schooling for toddlers and young children. Located in Riverside, CA, our program serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We offer full and part time options to meet the needs of your family, and we strive to maintain the highest quality standards to support the growth and development of your child. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Our programs are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of toddlers, preschoolers, and young children. With the help from our experienced and educated staff, we support each stage of childhood with care, guidance, structure, and exploration. From first smiles to first school days, Sunny Hills Riverside is the perfect place for your child to grow.
Montessori Philosophy
We strongly believe that children learn best when they are able to explore their natural environment. To this end, we have many outdoor based activities in our gardens and outdoor play areas. Whenever possible, activities are held outside including small group activities, music time, and (of course!) play.
California Preschool Program Guidelines
Sunny Hills Riverside has aligned its program with the California Preschool Program Guidelines. These guidelines were developed to meet the age appropriate development of preschool children and help establish programs which prepare children for Kindergarten at California schools.
